EPPING FOREST OUTDOOR GROUP

The Epping Forest Outdoor Group was formed over 50 years ago as a Group for those people who want to do a range of activities in the outdoors. On these pages are some photographs of our activities in more recent years. We don't specialise but will try nearly anything.
We arrange activities most weekends with walking and cycling being our most frequent activities, but we have also done canoeing, indoor rock climbing, orienteering and anything else our members put on the programme.
We are affiliated to the YHA (England and Wales) and at weekends we might go hostelling, camping or possibly B&B.
We meet on Thursday evenings to both plan our weekends and to socialise, maybe over a quiz, a T'ai Chi session, folk dancing or a game of volleyball.

From local walks in Epping Forest, to longer distance walks in somewhere in Europe, the Epping Forest Outdoor Group tries to cater for what its members want to do.
Walking in Snaresbrook or Sicily, cycling in Cambridgeshire or Khartoum (not yet!), climbing Pole Hill or Ben Vrackie, playing balloon volleyball on a Thursday, an after-walk meal in London, a Quiz Night or our annual Rodings Rally - we usually find something to do at least once a week. ........................................................................................
