EPPING FOREST OUTDOOR GROUP

A day trip to Oxford on 17th March 2007 for some, for others a cycling weekend staying at Oxford Youth Hostel. Those on the day trip took a guided walking tour around the City, visiting a number of the colleges with an excellent guide - who described himself as coming from Mesopotomia. His knowledge of Oxford - and his love of England - was outstanding. His chastising of some Japanese tourists who weren't respecting the "Private" notices was both amusing and food for thought - New College's motto: 'Manners Makyth Man'. The cyclists and the tourists met up for a meal together at the Youth Hostel before either turning in for the night, or driving back home. However, for the drivers or driven, there was yet another walk: to the out-of-town car-park - having missed the last bus!!
