EPPING FOREST OUTDOOR GROUP

An evening visit to London on 16th September 2007 for The Mayor’s Thames Festival - a carnival procession and a fireworks display on the River. We watched the procession from near Embankment Station, then crossed the river to watch the fireworks display from Waterloo Bridge. We then had a walk along the south bank, crossed the river again and made our way to a Turkish restaurant that we have visited before, just off the Strand.

   London by night - 16th September 2007

- and fairies float by the Thames
An elephant rolls down the Embankment...

  - but this may be St. Paul's - albeit blurred
Don't actually know what this was...
and these are fireworks on the Thames...
   - and so are these
