Wanstead Wildlife : photographs of Fungi
In many instances I do not have the expertise in these orders to offer a confident identification, but have attempted to do so to the best of my ability. I have grouped the photographs in the simple order listed to the left, then by their Order, their Family and then alphabetically by species within these. Each is referred to by its scientific name and its common name if it has one. The names of fungi are mostly those used by the British Mycological Society, although in some cases with the English names I have used those that I prefer.
I haven't included thumbnails for photos, just a sequence of larger-scaled images. These have been labeled with the date photographed and the location. Unless otherwise stated the photographs were taken by myself.
