Insects photographed in and around Wanstead Park

The photographs are grouped mainly in family order. Each is referred to by its common name, and also by its scientific name.

The large scale photographs have been labeled with the date photographed and the location. The majority of photographs were taken "in the field"; some - caught in the garden - are "in the home"!

The correct identification of the species cannot be guaranteed! Thanks to Peter Kirby for pointing out some mistakes (some glaringly so!) and some suggestions.
