Some insects seen and identified by George Washingtonof the WREN Conservation Group in Wanstead Park and surrounding areas during 2005

II have given where possible, two dates and/or locations for each entry to eliminate visitors to the area.

Unless there is something that may add information do not normally continue to record further sightings after the second sighting.

I have used the term 'Wanstead Park to refer to the area inside the boundary shown the Corporation of London's leaflet Epping Forest Wanstead Park

Although Reservoir Wood, the Old Sewage Works and much of the land east of the River Roding are outside Wanstead Park I have added records of any insects seen and in those areas because of their proximity to Wanstead Park.
