A large Ichneumon, with an apparently all-orange body .

These are difficult to identify as a none-specialist, but the closest I can suggest is one of the Netelia species, based partly on the fact that it does have what is called an areolet in the forewing. This is a small, in this case triangular, compartment at the joints of some veins.
