          East bank of Roding, opp. Wanstead Park, 15 April 2012

This specimen was found freshly dead on the east bank of the Roding, just near the Coronation Bridge. There was a wound on its side, and it is assumed that it had been caught by a predator - possibly a bird - and then dropped.
