Notes
The Tormentil in the grounds of the Quaker Meeting House is as far south as the species has been found in the study area, although a small amount was found on WAnstead Flats in July 2016, but this was thought to have been a recent accidental introduction.
Most of the area's tormentil is to be found on Leyton Flats, and further north in Gilbert's Slade. Perhaps that in the Meeting House grounds may be a relic location of conditions in this part of Epping Forest, protected by the enclosure of the grounds by a wall in the 19th Century.
