Growing from the side wall of a house in Ridley Road, near the junction with Capel Road.

This is the first of this species that I have found, or know to have been recorded, from the local area. The Flora of Essex (Essex Naturalist Trust 1974) stated that it was 'very rare' on 'old mortared walls'.
