I think that this Oxalis species is O. articulatus, although there are a number of garden escapes that are possibilities.

O. articulatus is a common naturalised plant in Essex and other parts of the U.K. Locally, Pink-sorrels occur in a number of places on Wanstead Flats, typically at roadside edges.
