Apart from a patch near Bush Wood, which I have not found recently, until 2016 the only location that I knew of this species was in the scrub area of the Flats opposite St. Gabriel's Church.

In August 2016 I found two stems of Wood Sage amongst newly-growing gorse on the slopes leading down to the Brickfields, or Dell, area of the Flats, some hundreds of metres to the west.
