This Yucca is situated at the south side of the top of the slope leading up to the front of the Temple.

Before the drastic clearance of just about all of the plants and trees that grew in and - as a hedge - around the gardens of the Temple, it was a magnificent plant. Later it was regularly mown down and can be seen here desperately holding on.

It eventually succumbed, or was removed.
