Mesapamea secalis is an aggregate species, with a complex of three, the other two of which are Lesser Common Rustic (M. didyma) and Remm's Rustic (M. remmi).

It isn't possible to determine which is which except by detailed examination, but on the associated page I have a photograph of two specimens showing - at least - a considerable difference in size, although this in itself is not a characteristic that can be relied upon.
